The 2019 vintage was truly remarkable. With Mother Nature’s support, the growing season provided fantastic grape growing conditions. Early warm summer days allowed the grapes to acclimate and develop superior flavor profiles. A cooler fall with a few sporadic heat spikes helped achieve even ripening resulting in robust and full flavors.
Varietal composition: 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec
TASTING NOTES
A well-structured and full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with a deep ruby color. Inviting aromas and flavors of bramble fruits, cassis, vanilla beans, and dark chocolate are present. Silky tannins and a balanced acidity linger on the long and intense finish. While approachable now, it will age beautifully over the next 5-10 years.
